I love testing different beauty products – skincare and makeup. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve prioritized how I treat my aging skin and have found a few products that I just can’t give up. Here are my top morning skincare products that I rebuy again and again.
My morning routine is super simple as I don’t believe in layering too many products and I tend to always be in a rush. Simplifying this aspect of my beauty routine has been helpful as I get ready for my workday, round up the kids, and get out the door. Plus anything I can do work on those fine lines and wrinkles I’ve earned over the years is a bonus
Cleanser
Don’t sleep on Philosophy’s Purity Made Simple One-Step Facial Cleanser. I’ve used this cleanser for years and found that it makes my skin feel squeaky clean without feeling stripped or dry. I just picked up a new bottle from Ulta.
Serum
SkinCeuticals Vitamin C E Ferulic packs a punch, brightening and protecting against environmental toxins. This product also fights against those pesky fine line and wrinkles. I’ve seen a huge improvement with my skin since adding this to my routine a few years ago. This is also my most recommended product to friends.
Moisturizer
My preference is to use SkinCeuticals A.G.E. Interrupter, a rich and thick moisturizer that is able to glide on without being too heavy. I have never experience any dryness and have noticed my skin’s texture has improved by adding this to my regimen. Due to its price point and how quickly it seems to go, I alternate it with Cetaphil Daily Hydrating Facial Lotion. This moisturizer is light, full of moisture and wears really well under makeup.
Eye Cream
I started wearing eye cream at 18 so I’ve tried a lot of different products over the years. Again, SkinCeuticals comes in with the winner here. I love love love their A.G.E. Eye Complex. The skin around the eyes is super sensitive and this product is very moisturizing, helps correct my dark circles, and works on those pesky fine lines.
Sunscreen
EltaMD UV Daily Sunscreen works great under makeup and doesn’t break me out like some other sunscreens I’ve tried. I’m definitely working on getting better at wearing it on a regular basis to prevent sun damage!
Hope you give some of these products a try!
